This week we had our first international guest, Sean Burns. Hailing from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Sean fronts his band Sean Burns and Lost Country, hosts his podcast The Northern Report, hosted the radio show Boots & Saddles on CKUW 95.9 FM for years and also holds down bass duties for Corb Lund and the Hurtin’ Albertans!
To say Sean is well-rounded is an understatement. If you check out his website, there is even a Honky-Tonkumentary on his band and the recording of their album, We Gotta Lotta Truckin’ To Do. He does it all, really.
We enjoyed getting the opportunity to talk shop with him. We covered playing music, finding those old gems in the record bins, travelling, how cold cold can get and how Sweetwater music really works!
